Uh- Oh, Thanks for the link. It looks like that one is still shipping from the US? I'm probably just going to opt for this one. http://www.alumilite.com/ProdDetail.cfm ... sure%20PotShipping is about $80. It's not the cheapest, or largest, but reports on the net of the 'harbor freight' pots exploding got me worried.

I've been using a harbor freight convert pot for about 2 years with now problems...also a HF compressor that i got on clearance is still hanging in there. The max psi needed for a bubble free casting is about 40, so it's not that much strain on it. And it looks identical to the alumilite one.

I get my pots here. Solid, reliable, fantastic tech support. My first order I put in the wrong type of hose and the tech support guy called me up and pointed my to the right one. Even suggested fittings I'll need from the hardware store. Cool folks, very knowledgeable http://www.finishsystems.com/resincasti ... epots.html

The Harbor Freight one is cheap and works well. If you can get one to ship it to you it might be cheaper than the Alumilite one. I'm surprised Tokyu Hands doesn't have them. Keep checking ebay or Amazon or whatever they have over there. Good luck...those Galaxy People are coming out awesome.

Thanks everyone for the info and links.
For the most part searches have been showing DIY bike pump / pressure cooker assemblages. Maybe 40psi isn't as high as I thought. Science was never my strong point at school.

Re: Galaxy People. Pressure pots in Japan?
I think tho, when I move up to a 5 gallon pressure pot I'd go with a purpose built one....but that will require a bigger compressor and a bigger studio, so it won't be for awhile.
