WTF? Why not?

We need to update the data base for these guys. There has been a full size and mini flesh un-painted release. I hope we see more painted versions of both versions released in 2010.

Various factors were in play I am sure. Some makers opted out, some probably slipped through the cracks.
Also conspicuously absent are Rumble Monsters, Zollmen/Exohead, Bemon, Secret Base, Cure, Kaiju Big Battel (Marmit), Wombat (Marmit), SkullHeadButt (Marmit), Yamazakura (too new?), and Pop Soda (Many Mey where for art thou?)

Thats sucks, you just named pretty much just named who I collect. O well, money saved I guess, fucking bummer though I was looking forward to this book.

It was a pre-order and has yet to be released and/or sent out. At least I've yet to receive mine.

I should point out there is a tremendous amount of great stuff in this book - it was a herculean undertaking consider the depth of the subject matter and the strict deadline they put on themselves and that its bi-lingual and was actually finished ahead of schedule (!!!!!) . The one figure - one entry approach has plusses and minuses but works pretty well for The Gargamel and Real x Head sections which are super nice. Also there are also many old favorites included. I don't think that this book is targeted so much at us cranky old-timers so much but more at the curious and potential new comers. Definitely check it out if you get a chance.

is the mini flesh the one that was offered in the lulu hunt or was that a different unpainted one

So, these Super Fest releases are made available ONLY at the event, right? Outside of waiting for somebody to flip them, those that can't make it to the Fest don't get a chance, do they?

I would keep my eye on Lululbell, as they usually have Superfestival hookups stateside.

As far as the book goes, Rumble Monsters, Secret Base and Cure both opted out for various reasons. Bemon opted out for obvious reasons. Not sure on the Zollmen/Exohead. maybe they backed out too. Pop Soda, not sure either. It is only new, original designs, so a lot of makers that focus on traditional old school kaiju were cut.

The SF51 RxH fevers are winners.
There are some subtle differences to the Afterschool version.

The newer met. spray version is the retooled version. I LOVE the JR> too.
