detachable. I think they come bagged like anything else. S7 has them.

Hmmm...the ones I saw at a case shop in Nakano a few weeks ago were bagged, but attached to the base....

Interesting. Usually M1 sets like this, that come with a base, are arranged on the base and bagged. They are not actually attatched to the base, it just appears that way because of the packaging.

The three Matangos in this set were originally sold unattached. They were bagged individually and then again in a larger bag with the round green platform. I've got them lined up on my shelf without the base next to their cousins. Now if someone glued the ones to the base that you saw in Nakano then that's a different story....
