 Haji Space Trooper - Super Score! Just found this vintage tin Space Trooper yesterday in a random hole-in-the-wall Midwest antique store. Sure it has some rust and is missing the gun and box, but still totally awesome! Made by Haji in Japan, circa 1956.

its funny, i'm not a tin toy collector by any means but i have always been intrigued by pics of old tin robots and the like... but they go for crazy bucks which pretty much keeps me away. when i saw this in the antique store i knew it looked super familiar, either way i had to have it.. too rad to pass up.
sure enough i checked when i got home and there was one that sold in the morphy auction recently (in much better condition). i had actually saved the auction picture to my computer just because it looked cool, now i have the actual toy a month later!
