Mister T is supposed to be goofy, puppy-dog-like badass. this guy is too smooth. the real Mr T only knows emotions and bling. This guy is kind of suave and his facial hair sucks.

Neeson as Hannibal, I like this. Face works.

But why couldn't they just hire Matthew McConaughey to be Murdock? Or, dare I say it, Jim Carrey might've been the best choice for crazy Murdock.

The cast sucks...maybe that Hangover guy for Face, but Face was the key douche. It all hinges on Murdock & B.A. IMO, the casting director failed.

That's Quentin "Rampage" Jackson. He's a former Pride and current UFC fighter and one of the coaches on this season's The Ultimate Fighter. He is hillarious, and a bad mother fucker. He was supposed to fight Rashad Evans the opposing coach, but skipped out on the fight to film this movie. I would have rather seen the fight.
Just type Rampage's name into you-tube and watch some of his antics. He's an entertaining guy.

For a couple of years I've been wondering when they were going to make this movie. Looks ridiculous, but the show was ridiculous, too. It can't be any worse than the dozens of other movies they've made based on terrible tv shows. Shitty or not, though, my brother and I will probably go and watch this together just like we watched the show together when we were kids. Then we'll rip it apart afterward.

I can't say I agree, but its not horrible, which is what I was expecting. I saw a leak of the trailer a few days ago, and though, well, its doesn't make me hate my childhood like transformers.
BA annoys the fuck out of me and neeson seems to be trying to hard but it looks like it could be fun.

My question is, if its present day, how do they deal with the fact of being 'underground' but right out in day light in the presence of cell phone cameras, you tube, twitter, etc

Or how do they deal with the more then obvious fact that they drive in a one of a kind custom black van with red stripe that will stand out where ever they go.

This movie looks terrible.

The presumption that technology equates less of an ability to fall off the radar never really acknowledges the fact that most humans are stupid.

Case in point? Some guy on a Northwest Airplane manages to get on board with underwear and a dildo filled with explosives and was only foiled when he screwed up. All the security and intelligence in the world didn't stop him getting that far.

For that matter computers are cheaper and easier to deal with than they ever have been. But guess what? Tech support is still a booming business.

The problem nowadays is that we have tons of technological and surveillance "dots" but folks barely know how to connect them to make any sense of it all.

Which is all to say: If you are arguing the inherent logic of the whole A-Team premise, man you miss the point. Might as well debate why there are gangs of roller skating and sequined vest thugs are in the subways of NYC in The Warriors. I mean, logically, that film makes no sense: Can you dig it!!!!

You can not question the logic of the warriors, it just is.

I can suspend disbelief for the duration of a movie (you have to for anything hollywood churns out) I think it would just be interesting if the movie addressed this things.

Casting aside. I dont think they cut to black enough in the trailer. It was almost seizure inducing.

To any "haters" out there: Did you watch that show? Really? I did, it was horrible and great at the same time because it was a bunch of explosions, corn-ball lines, some hyped up music and Mr. T. This movie version only seems to be missing Mr.T. Otherwise it looks like it's going to be what the show was, dumb action, cornball lines, the theme but sadly no T. It's not like they're whoring up some precious show with a well thought out plot and fine acting. It's the god damned A-Team. It's going to be as good as you let it be. I think it'll be dumb and fun, but won't pay to see it in theaters.

Originally, Ice Cube was supposed to to be BA...Rampage is a much better choice. I've gotta admit...I don't even know the guys playing Face and Murdock. Liam could be entertaining as Hannibal.

I think they're all pretty solid choices except Rampage. Not that I think he's BAD, he just seems clean. So I guess my gripe is with costume and makeup. I'd rather see him a bit gruffer. Ice Cube would've sucked. I agree on Liam, since Taken if he's going to be in a movie where he kicks someones ass, I'm watching.
