I have a friend who ordered from there around December, and hasn't received his package- yet they took money out of his account. He's called numerous times, with no answer, and has sent many emails with no reply.

I understand that SoS moved their location, so maybe their phone number changed too? Has anyone been to the new location (16306 Hawthorne Boulevard Lawndale, CA 90260)?

Just trying to help a friend establish communication with the folks over at SoS.

i dont think there is a new location yet. if he ordered with a credit card i would probably contact the CC and try and get the $ back. as far as i know, there isnt anyone that would be running a store or mail order.

heard problems from span since about august of last year... hope the situation gets worked out!

I would call the cc company, the website has not changed since the store closed. I was by that new location after comic con and its was a vacant building. It's possible span owns it but highly unlikely that it would be a retail store. It's possible something changed but I think they closed and never turned off the web store. Doesn't mean it is intentional on span's part, they were always cool but if they left town or something and didn't turn off the store or the cc part it could still charge people. The store is very close to the 405 Im sure someone can pop by and see if they ever opened. Good luck.
