Post The Kozik Labbit
I have never seen one of these in person, but figured there were only 2 sizes. The real small ones and the 10" ones. Is there another size? I only ask as there is a shop near where I work in Melbourne that has 4 or 5 bootleg Labbits in the window. The size of them look to be about 5" or so and wondered how they got the sculpt at that size.
Nearly bought one for the bootlegishness of them. They sit right next to bootleg gloomy bears in this store's window of bootlegs.

Sorry frank, but I just don't get the appeal to these labbits. I like the multiple version, and I think it is way better than the [expletive deleted]/munny/shitty.

Popa can you give me your review of why this toy is so collectable by people worldwide?

the way I look at it I guess is: why are BxH figures so appealing? I mean they basically made a shark that is just badass or the Duck is badass as well!!!! there is just something that is appealing to me at least about big balky simple characters but I also like small detailed monsters and shit too.

The more basic something is the harder it is to explain its appeal. Labbits are cool.

I like the labbits because....

They are simple but even color/texture variations are adequate to keep a display of them looking interesting.

They are cheap enough that I can have as many as I do (only missing 5 production labbits -bxh, grey skull bunny, cubano, orange/red dots and bondage labbits) without being totally out-on-my-ass broke. (If I could have this many SB figures, I absolutely would)

There is something refreshing about having Frank around and interacting with us so often, that I do feel some sort of loyalty to him and his products over other artists/designers.

They appeal to my tastes just enough, but also appeal to people who I introduce to the vinyl toy scene in the first place (especially girls, who think they are cute but always ask why they have to be smoking haha).

If all I had was little skull monsters sitting all over the place, people might get the wrong impression of me

In closing...I cleaned my shelves last night:

I think I might have a serious problem

thanks for the info. I understand the interest now in the Labbit. I guess I got hooked by other platform toys, so this one came a little later and that is why I didn't understand it. I guess this is why I have such a big Anpanman collection. And them damn tofu heads keep filling my shelfs.
