Ah Sure, but Toy Tokyo has been known for having the stock on hand and the number of purchases not come out to an even number.

I think some folks are going to get the dreaded, "Sorry, we over sold" email. But I hope not, I'd just assume people get their stuff.

I don't know - I had asked in another thread but I don't think anyone else knew either. As much as I'd rather deal with S7, I've had problems in the past with things selling out (while I was placing an order, no less). This is one of those "bird in the hand" situations for me, as I'm really looking forward to this one.

That's kind of what I'm getting at though. A receipt doesn't equal getting one.

How many are made? I can guarantee you that if 50 people on here just "bought" one from toy Tokyo that some of them aren't going to get it.

It's not like Toy Tokyo is trying to screw anyone it is just the difference between real-time stock and online ordering.

I know exactly what you're saying - it's happened to me before with TT (and Span). Worst case scenario, they refund the $ to my CC. Best case, I get the figure. I just meant that I should probably try it, 'cause if I waited there's an even bigger chance of missing out.

I don't see what's so hard about having real-time inventory on a website, though.

I am still in shock that we are going to be able to buy a damaged brain at retail cost. it makes my head swim. I think I need two of these.

i would assume that they know how many are coming in, and if so there's no reason why it wouldn't be just like something for which they have stock in-hand.

there could still be problems, but i haven't ever had any trouble ordering from TT (i did have a couple problems getting things delivered, but that was due to my address changing and everything worked out ok in the end anyway).

I'm feeling you! I should have added that I totally understand covering your bases. It's the rub that comes with something this limited.

To be honest I have bad feeling I'll miss out on this one, just the way my luck tracks...
