^^^ Looks like it's the Ikea "Billy." I have something similar but smaller for books. They have a warmer feel then the detolfs in my opinion.

Re: The "What you just got in the Mail" Thread
Yep, IKEA... it's a Besta which is a bit deeper than the Billy and just a bit wider so I can add a few more toys... inspired by Stealthtank... he has the Billy bookcase setup at the St. Pete store and added white shelves which I'm planning to do with my next paycheck, it really does make the figures pop when you add the white shelving against the black background.. and no, you can't see thru the back on this one Nips... total cost so far : $460 the unit by itself : $150 *sweet* four sets of doors : $200 *not so sweet* two sets of dioder lights : $80 *craziness* two sided velcro stickies for lights : $5 *no problem* add ten white shelves to the mix and then we go over $500 it's obviously the more expensive route but to me it's worth every penny considering I have never had any type of set up to put my vinyl on display and that I finally found something that I actually like.. just wish I could afford another one since it will only hold a small portion of what I actually own.. super fucking happy I can finally start sharing some of my goodies with you guys on the board...!!! only a while longer before I have things finalized and can find myself some time to open up toys and shuffle header cards around...!!! woo hoo...!!! time to get hammered at my friends superbowl party...!!! cheers...!!!

Re: The "What you just got in the Mail" Thread
The thing that bothers me about the IKEA cabinets- Billy or Besta- is the gap between and around the doors. Maybe your house is cleaner than mine, but it lets in a lot of dust over time.
I agree that the setup looks much nicer than Detolfs- more of an old toy shop feel (although one day I want actual retail display cases). White shelves would look pretty good. My setup has glass shelves since I was concerned about the stain on the wood reacting with vinyl/plastic.
Can't wait to see you cram your collection in there. I bet it will look great!

Re: The "What you just got in the Mail" Thread
That is a sweet display setup Michael!
In my experience, the dust that escapes through the doors is no more problematic than the dust that comes through the gaps on the sides of the detolf doors. Which is not much really.
