 Pee-wee Herman likes kaiju Here are some screen shots from a filmed release of Pee-wee's pre-playhouse live stage show, "The Pee-wee Herman Show" (1981) featuring a giant sized Godzilla figure and an Ultra Seven poster.   I've been a Pee-wee fan since I was a kid, but never got around to catching this release. I was surprised and excited to see some of my favorite characters featured in the set.

I think this show opened the doors for a lot of creative people to become more successful and step from underground to "legit" or whatever the term would be for making it big. And it was a great and fun show in and of itself. Well missed.
I skipped the recent live show of Pee Wee's return here in LA because it was to much money for the sake of nostalgia.
Doesn't the top picture capture all of looking at our own collections?
