Other than the eyes what would you consider a rip?

The rocky body form & texture is pretty close to what was on the orig Bera (the main 'inspiration' for Sarumon).


And the feet remind me of the eyezon feet.

But then again, think of all the japaneseTV/movie kaiju that 'sampled' from other kaiju.
(Or other sources, like the evil robot minions in Red baron with the Frankenstein rubber masks painted silver .)

Love the texture on this, gonna be fun to paint.

Out of all the stone looking (intentionally or unintentionally) textured kaiju that are made, this one really stands out to me. It just looks very well sculpted. Yes, the influences are obvious, but I think this guy looks pretty cool and that's what is most important to me.

this just doesn't feel natural to me. It feels like it's an attempt at creating a supergroup. Take successful pieces, sculpt, size, paintability, and jam it all together with the hopes of creating the newest $1,000+ figure.

I think it looks hilarious in a bad way. It's like someone started with a bemon head..molded stuff all around it and it's the gynourmous head with feet. I'm sure he already has in motion a gazillion releases and paint contests and one offs on the way.

That's awesome that people are excited and I'm sure more will be once it's painted. Just not for me.

i have nothing against mashing up stolen concepts,
but these particular concepts don't mesh well together imo.
those cronic 1-offs are all amazing, love the orange and green in the one you got sancx33.
i had to fight the urge to go in on that lottery.
the cronic prices were to crazy high for my spending...
