 New Miike It seems like Miike should have his own thread here at SB. He churns out a new movie every other month it seems like. Anyways his latest seems to be a Samurai ere take on The Dirty Dozen titled 13 Assassins! That bit of info is enough to have me sold. The range of films Miike can direct and direct well is astounding. Who else is stoked for this one?

Kudo’s 13 Assassins was criticized in Japan, said to be just a rip-off of the Seven Samurai. Somewhere between an influence and an unofficial remake? Let’s see what will do the director behind Izo & Sukiyaki Western Django! Miike is also working on Zebraman 2!
