Alex Pardee knocked the shit out of his, wow. Skinners rules too, reminds me of a medieval vision of hell or something (well, I guess his work always does. Maybe it's the clothing).

Where on the same page brotha, Skinner is my favorite of the bunch as well. I'm a tad biased though I think anything skinner does is the best.

Agreed on Skinner.
Alex Pardee bugs me. I do like his poster, but looking at a lot of his work (especially this poster) it just looks like a total Ralph Steadman ripoff. I LOVE Ralph Steadman, so I'm bound to be somewhat drawn to work that apes his style. But I hate it when one artist is obviously trying to look like another, but under the guise of it being original work.

Some of these are terrible and a very "SAW" like which to me, isn't what the movie is about. I even thought the Sam Flores one looked like 'batboy.'

The other's weren't that bad but I actually really like the simplicity of "Grotesk's" version. It captured everything without trying to be uber cool.

I thought the same thing when I saw the Sam Flores design as well. I still cant figure out what its trying to depict from the movie. Wait I see it now, its Landa.

I'm a huge fan of Estevan Oriols photography, but his reminded me of American History X.

I actually like the Alex Pardee print, I love the eagle slicing the demons neck with sorts of nasty stuff pouring out into the Nazi flag.

i think it is the lettering style that harkens the steadman influence.
the actual artwork doesn't remind me of any of steadman's stuff, since the artwork sticks true to pardee's usual style.

i think my favorite of them all was dora's. so simple and clean.

yeah, i thought the same thing. made me wonder if he got the movies confused? i only saw basterds once, but i don't recall a scene where they are breaking someone's teeth on a curb.

That name's a blast from the past . . Scarfe and Steadman were my heroes going through art school!

That was the one that caught my eye too . . . real clean in comparison to most of the others!

I agree with Maz - Dora's is superb. Could have used that as the actual film poster and it would have been incredible.
