As much as it pains me to do this I had to file a dispute with Shikaruna this morning through paypal. It's only a few days away from the 45 day limit to file so I had to do it or be out 300 dollars. I'm hoping by just doing the "dispute" it will get them on the ball and ship my items out. I really don't want to file a claim but will if need be.

I'm sorry but not responding to my emails or responding weeks later with "wait a little more" which becomes weeks later is not working for me. Anyone else having the same issue? This pretty much seals it for me with collecting Shikaruna anymore. They've lost me as a customer forever.

I want to make a call to their customer service line, but I may be I may be in the same boat, only with no means of filing a claim.

I didn't even think of filing a complaint and got my items, but they were at least 3 months after when they were supposed to be finished, at least.

It's been about three weeks for me and I received the same response after a few inquiries on the status of my order..."Wait a little bit longer." : P

I am still waiting for my giant black zagoran set from last year.

I'm not saying SK is some evil scammer just stringing me along, but their communication response time is horrid and after 45 days your assed out with paypal. I really do hope they just send me an ems tracking number and be done with it.

I got a HP Dorol from them when they were first released and it was here within a week.

I get that they are a small operation but really if you can accept money from customers, you owe it to them to be honest about delivery wait time. A simple response ( and usually it takes much prodding to get one from them) saying your items will be done and shipped by such and such a date would eleviate problems.

I'm trying to be patient.

That sucks and its no way to run a business of ANY size. As a company Shikaluna has an obligation to fill orders in a timely manner. I can't imagine taking peoples hard earned cash like that and have the clients wait so long for their orders. This must be really embarrassing for them not to mention the bad press/rep they might get. I really dig their toys and it's kinda surprising to read all of these reports.

I recieved an email from them a couple of months ago that stated that they had come under some difficult circumstances this year, due to the loss of a loved one.
I recieved a box of toys from them shortly after this mail...I posted a few of them on my flickr. Then I ordered 2 SF lucky bags from them with no problems at all.
I think it's possible that there may have been a few of my orders lost in the transitioning the business may have gone through last year. I want to call their customer service number with the help of a japanese translator. I have a feeling everything will be fine, but maybe I am eternally optimistic.
Can anybody reccommend somebody to help me with the translating the call(via skype)? or proxying my issue to Sk directly somehow?

Mine was a preorder that was supposed to take about 3-4 months and took way longer, but with their product I thought it was worth it.

sorry to hear about all this. a dorol cube i ordered direct from them arrived about 4 months later. a bit aggravating, but worth it.

I ordered the purple garumega back when sk first put them up for sale! it took almost 6 months to arrive. I sent them an email after 2 months and got a reply asking to wait a little longer. after 4 months i sent off another email and never heard back, then 2 months later the garumega arrived.

Kinda pissed me off how long i took, and hasnt really soured me on collecting SK. I just won't be ordering direct from them ever again! I'll stick with getting sk stuff from lulubell or s7 from now on... lesson learned

Obviously this Shikaluna incident is OK with some folks which is cool if that's your thing. I wasn't trying to be a stick in the arse or anything. I guess I was just projecting my own business practices. My bad if it offended anyone

I think what got me most heated was seeing all these items on YJA (I let two GID Maddalla pass and watched endless MK's go by) and people posting their LB items here. It reminded me every day that I had been waiting awhile and if I would have known it was going to be forever and a day I would have used that money to perhaps bid on some of those or get it elsewhere.

Oh well uncle sam gave me an unexpected windfall well over what I expected today and will bid on other things (perfect timing)..

The loved one that was lost was his father. Apparently, he took it very hard, but he told me he is striving to live up to everyone's expectations. It is a very small operation and demand is high. He also made alot of one-offs for the LBs and for the toy festival. I'm not making excuses, just a possible explanation. I have had to wait for months to get my orders, but he never fails to deliver (eventually). He is also slow to respond to email, but so am I -- just ask any of my students' parents. My advice would be to be patient. Those who collect Anraku know about the long waits and SK puts out way more.

I sent SK an email yesterday inquiring about my item and received a response...
"I am sorry that I kept you waiting for a long time.
I am ready for the item to send to you.
I will ship it tomorrow."

My dispute might have spurned them on. They shipped mine out.

I just got a CELGA box with a Gold metallic SK Marine Kong (but detailed, not the solid gold LB chase ones) and three minis instead of the Geborah that I purchased off YJA.

Kind of annoyed yet its a Marine Kong. The foot is stamped copyright Transglobal, anyone know if these are licensed now and in production again or a Festival event/Lucky Bag rare?

THAT'S MINE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Celga fucked up my last order and I've been trying to get things straightened out since early this week. I have your Gebora and three Shik minis that aren't mine either. I'm be beyond thrilled if we could sort this out.

I'll keep the minis I guess, unless you want them, I got three too. We'll straighten it out. Kind of sad its you claiming it but I don't forget kindness and you've been very cool in the past to me. Its a badass Marine Kong.
