Post Fat lady crew in the garden
Fat lady crew in the garden. The FLC decide to leave their homeland of absurdism for a day trip out of doors, to try a bit of "communing with nature", pondering what where and how?....it wasnt a complete success. They muddled, jumped, climbed, hung and sat around all day waiting for enlightenment, they felt a mild stirring from within, a tingling of the past. But somehow they just didnt fit anymore. And they thought as wise poet once said, that "like a funky vibrator, they would feel it now but probably get the vibe later" and with that extricated themselves back to the sunny sill of indoors.

Great pics G! Love the crew in your lush garden. Don't think I've had the pleasure of meeting the lemon-headed one. What's the story on that one?

from the blog entry on 12/6/09:
Quote:
Melancholy Molly and Bad Baby Banana are two ill-tempered demons whose naturally performative personalities made them a likely fit as understudies for The Fat Lady. Molly's propensity for self-obsessed depressive ranting and compulsive lying were traits that The Fat Lady could hone for the pre-Afterlife chorus line. A slug-like lemonhead of a beast, she is an amalgam of angelic personality flaws. As is His Divine Right, He just mushed together these essences of disfunction, stuffed them in the equivalent of an airtight jar, and tossed it down into Hell to incubate. Certainly an annonying demon, but hardly evil. Ill-willed, yes. Completely blood thirsty and demented? No. Stamped approved for rehab and paroled from Hell in the late 1800s.

Boy I need to keep brushing up on my ill-tempered natural-born demons. I know who Gods little trash can babies are. It was the camouflaged shot of Melancholy Molly up a tree that threw me off. :)

That banana is really cool, but how does it sit/stand when it is on a shelf?

the link above in my post has the full story and there are a bunch of pics in the Resonators Romper Room as well. Flickr in my signature also works.

Ghost and Flower, the banana figure stands relatively well but is easily knocked over when nudged. He is a slapstick-loving demon, who kicks the damned in the ass and then proceeds to fall on his own booty due to having only one leg. The balance is fairly good actually as long as the bottom of the foot is level.

Yep, these are all Uberboys magic. I was just inspired to photograph the set that I managed to score and write a silly little story.
For the real story jump on over to Uberboys blog.
