 Re: A kozik comeback ?
Maybe the second sale, the first one was a blood bath. I also remember him driving up ebay auctions on items he wanted. I don't really have negative feelings for frank, I just don't like his "art" and he had made some random homophobic posts here and KR. nefasth wrote: ^ I remember HIM selling stuff he owned at a rather low price.

HAHAHAHA I think uber boy hit in on the head... what the hell else is going on to post about? Nothing. We could go hype nag nag whatever or spacetrooper threads more. But that's being done without our help. Dean wrote: It's not a witch hunt until Geo posts a nice toy photo.

Frank has taken the time to answer my stupid rookie questions at length in the past, and he is supportive of new artists.
The only thing negative I could say about him is he was an Air Force puke, while I was Army.

Jumbo Stormtrooper!!!!!!! That is what is going on: and Lokash has a Fire Robo drop right around the corner and gargamel just released some amazing Mario's and Arbito painted some crazy ass vintage coin banks and Glyos Custom Corps are ruling (missed this one) and that is just this week. You know what's new about your attitude, point of view and contribution to Skullbrain? Nothing.

 Re: A kozik comeback ?
i was just joking about there not being anything to post about. being droll as it were. i just had my own first big toy release like a week ago, so i'm stoked on toys. the gargamel show is particularly exciting to me. it's a good year for toys methinks.

You know what's new about your attitude, point of view and contribution to Skullbrain? Nothing. So not having a different attitude or point of view i.e. following the latest hype/fad is something to be condemned these days? Personally I can't get excited about any of those other than the Jumbo. So chalk me up for meh. And lets not delude ourselves, Kozik only appears here lately when he wants to sell or push something. Koziks like an abusive partner most you keep crawling back to, and this is from someone who owns a lot of his western stuff. Crappy painted Zags with no preperation, anyone got one with no flaking issues. Fibreglass figure of a random monster he couldn't even be bothered to google the name of, and then just supersize it. Pickle/Coral RxH set (what was it called again?) of which he didn't paint various quantities of. Then you go back to KR and the dream packs that some valued members here were shit on for years, sitting on their money whilst he kept churning out other projects. Thats just of the top of my head. But yeah, he tells it like it us uh huh. Can someone also elaborate which artists were run off the board? That buff tit monster guy who painted some figures he couldn't tell you the name of in the same three colours that he paints his western stuff in just because kayjoo was getting hyped on VP? That was a real loss to this board wasn't it? Has SB changed its remit because last time I checked it was a board for Japanese vinyl, not arts and craft board for anyone who wants to slop a figure together with sculpy. Meh

 Re: A kozik comeback ?
I'm not excited by any of those things except the glyos. Sorry I don't collect customs and for the price of the storm trooper (and that I don't collect starwars) I could get a vintage jumbo. The marios look retarded and if any western company or mass producer had made them everyone here would be bashing them. What's new about your attitude? Nothing? You are still the same guy jumping hype to hype and playing the market like you did with huck and the ledbetter market. Remember those days? More power to you I hope there is a lot of cash in it. I understand this board is now part of a business you are very involved with but I personally don't take it that seriously and enjoy those who think I don't collect or I'm some very unhappy grumpy old man. Re: A kozik comeback ?
I don't really care if you like it I was just pointing out there is a lot to talk about. Of corse Audio seems to think talking about toys is hyping toys so I am not sure he will ever be happy. I don't think anyone cares if he is.
For the record I never hyped Huck's crap but I will still champion Joe's work from time to time.
To be honest I don't miss the old days at all. Most of the guys from back then turned our to be fair weather fans who sold their collections and moved on to the new shiny thing. I will never understand why the good old days crap around here. It is kinda fun to watch Audio hype the old days.

 Re: A kozik comeback ?
I have thought about starting a vintage fishing lure collection.
I would love to know what Audio thinks hyping this or that is? I wish S& had time to hype our stuff. All we can usually manage is posting the picture with some release info. Is that hype?
