Le Merde Hujili's Ghost by Gargamel
I really dig this one. I wonder if it's standard Hedoran size? It looks like it uses the arm and legs from the hedo. Makes me think it might be kind of cool to get some different heads designed by the artists that Gargamel works with, Like Biskup and Bwana etc. on standard sized bodies.

Re: Le Merde Hujili's Ghost by Gargamel
it is standard sized, and it does use the same arms and legs/bottom torso of a standard walking hedoran.

I wondered when these would leak. Where did you find them.
This freakshow of a toy is awesome, I can't wait to see one in person. I think we are getting a handful of these after Mike's show at Thrashout.

Re: Le Merde Hujili's Ghost by Gargamel
I gotta say the difference in the head sculpt really spoils this guy for me. Hujili in the resin has this awesome limp, greasy hear and doughy face. The vinyl Huijili looks like he just got back from the hairdressers. Like he's got fucking gel in his hair. Don't like it. I love Mike's work. I just dont think this one translated well between mediums.

blakewest wrote: I love Mike's work. I just dont think this one translated well between mediums. I agree Blake, the vinyl version loses alot of the personality of Mike's original sculpt. He's pretty much all head, so if you get that wrong it's all over. Bring on the Le turd Vinyl!

blakewest wrote: I just dont think this one translated well between mediums. I agree, for all of the reasons you pointed out. The vinyl version is way more cutesy than the resin one. And putting it on a Hedoran's body was kind of lazy...the head looks way too big for the body IMO. But, I don't think that I don't like it, per se. It's just different, but it's still Le Merde.

Re: Le Merde Hujili's Ghost by Gargamel
One of my favorite toys in a long time. I really like the cuter head, makes it more of a collaboration with a little bit of Gargamel character. I'm also a sucker for reused body parts so I hope this is a trend.
