Re: Le Merde Hujili's Ghost by Gargamel
I think the pocket Hujili head would have looked cool on the full size body. The vinyl version looks like he went to the barber and had some taken off the shoulder and some of the weight taken off the top I like this release

Re: Le Merde Hujili's Ghost by Gargamel
wow. the vinyl is definitely different than the resin, but i really like it. i think the head sculpt matches the body mashup - and it's a fun take on the figure. it has more of a "toy feel" than the original sculpt, especially with the articulated arms + legs. makes sense to me

I really like the new figure, but I can see what people are saying that have a connection with the resin version already. This will probably be my first Le Merde toy, and I'm all for different heads on Hedo bodies. I would love to see a Le Merde hedoran as well.

I hope there isn't a vinyl burgerbuns actually. I love the resins and have multiple, but everything I loved about the pieces is lost in the translation to vinyl.

Re: Le Merde Hujili's Ghost by Gargamel
This custom really helps bring the piece out. The resin and the vinyl are two complete different takes on the same character which I think is really cool. This is just Gargamel's version of Hujili's ghost. Yeah, the mop hair and pudge face ruled on the resin but this vinyl is still fantastic.

Sorry I can't help myself from posting. Just got back from Mike's and saw this HG in person it's amazing, and his work for Thrashout .... wow. These are Mike's best customs yet... and I said that last year. Seriously he's leveled up again. 100hp + 10 red potions = thrashout

can't wait to see these in person at the Thrashout show and then it's off to the MISHKA opening party. This trip is getting better and better. Who's coming?

One day I will see Japan, just not on the 6th. Hoping for some board member help or online sales for this event. To everyone who is going, have a great time! Can't wait to see the big reveal.

That's one badass group.
And Hujili is HUGE! Didn't pick up on the standard size earlier...

Based on that, I'd like to see arbito paint his version of a "camo" zag.

Re: Le Merde Hujili's Ghost by Gargamel
this round of Le Merdes and that Arbito custom are fantastic. While I agree that some of the charm of the resin Hujili is lost, this version also opens up a lot of possibilities and is a great use of the Hedo body.
My respect for Gargamel & Grass Hut has really been growing lately!
