The toy that defines it all for me Denjin Zaboga !
Colors materials size and funky gimmicks. One of my first loves. This has always been the one and I finally got him! I had a little friend in 74' who got this during an import toy shop trip to LA with his parents(I chose the MG2!) and while I treated my MG rather nicely, I watched him slowly rip this toy to smithereens. Not exactly mint, but no problem to me considering the price. I like the "stash box" on his back. The army as it stands...

I have the Hawaii version of that one. It's a beautiful creamy vinyl. Here's the wheels out on the mecha machine!

Wow - that's awesome! Congrats! Love the box back.
My personal DZ fave is the other one with the fold-out wheels, the one with the firing fists held in by chains. I remember seeing that on ebay when I first started collecting - I had no idea what it was and let it pass for next to nothing. I'd kill for a decent version of that now!!

Awesome, Paul. Next to the zenmai, the Mekamachine is my favorite rendition of the character (and not just because it's a big honkin' missile-fire!)...but the irony is that as much as I love his design, I don't actually have any toys of him! Anyway, Stephan at TBDX did a killer brog about this toy with some more gorgeous pics: http://toyboxdx.com/brog/?p=4198

the MF zaboga is such an amazing piece of eye candy. that first shot with sky in the background is mind blowing. your hawaii denjin is only the third one i have seen (including mine).

Here's one that was hiding in the vintage case at S7. Congrats to midnight26man for picking it up.

Add another one to teh list... I knew this was a Hawaii version, but I never realized how scarce it was. I thought it was on par with the more common Ultra Seven Hawaii version kaiju like Pegassa, Icarus, Micuras, and Eleking.

Re: The toy that defines it all for me Denjin Zaboga !
Hmmm... that Hawaii Zaboga is a tough one to find? Darn! My brother had that one when we were kids and I was hoping to find one for sale to give to him for his birthday. When we were little, by brother and I met a kid who had an amzaing Zaboga toy. It had fold out wheels in his chest and his fist (both fists?) shot off and was held by a chain like Kindboy D said. I think I remember the top of his head flipping over to reveal a tiny helicopter inside and the tops of his feet opened up and tiny cars came out. It was the single most amazing toy we'd ever seen. My brother and I both wanted it, but our parents would only get us Bullmark vinyls. After seeing all the gadgets on that Zaboga, Hawaii Bullmarks seemed like only a consolation prize to us as kids. Now, it pains me that neither of us held onto those.

paul, your missle fire collection is looking outstanding ! the mecha godzilla is still my favorite MF of all time. the rock bat is one of those toys you need to hold in your hands to fully understand how cool it is. blazer is another example of how inticate ( and fragile) a japanese toy can be.

Re: The toy that defines it all for me Denjin Zaboga !
I am not sure the creamy is Hawaii, as I have seen several vinyl colors in hawaii for this one, all fairly similar, and I have seen the creamy in japan. I could be wrong, but I have never heard of anyone ever referring to zaboga having a hawaii variant.

Re: The toy that defines it all for me Denjin Zaboga !
the person who told me it was a hawaii version lives in hawaii and collects denjin zaboga, so i took his word for it. many of the imported vinyls had a little sticker that said made in japan.
