I like the red one's paint job on his chest, how it incorporates the belly protrusion into one feature.

Although the purple guy with the lipstick freaks me out a bit..

This was the track I was thinking of...sometimes referred to as Repeater. Sonic Boom collects toys, at least he use to.

Thanks to DOnnie Robot I got to hang with a cadaverous Jason Pierce last year at Rough Trade London...the got to se a rather jolly Spiritualized in-store. I remember seeing Spacemen 3 a couple of times back in the 80's. I recall them sitting down and playing with their backs to the audience at the Clarendon in Hammersmith.

Wow Carl you got to see Spacemen 3? Very envious indeed! I've seen Spiritualized when they first formed in 90-91 (and every few years I pop in because they are quite good live), and Sonic Boom with Spectrum (actually at CBGB's in 91 or 92?) but never the first incarnation. That's quite an accomplishment!

I'm resurrecting my own thread two years later. No one has ever posted pics of the Hobikon 07 Secret version Khappa (from a few years ago), till now:







The vinyl is a orange red marbled color (with black mixed in). It may not be popular here but I still think early Shikaruna was top notch. I'd never sell mine off...

Damn, why don't I have 1 of these in my collection still. Same thoughts as before, awesome pose, and amazing paint apps by Shikaruna.

I know a lot of people really dig the 2nd Khappa version that they did but this 1st version was the one that really drew me in. If you see one (especially an older version) buy on sight! You won't regret it. Older SK was just the right amount of metallic paint. Some of the newer paint jobs are too over the top for me.

I think me, you, Jared (six7777) & Daniel are the only hardcore Shikaruna collectors here anymore. Well it feels that way at least. Probably wrong about that. Does feel like there is less competition than say 2009 right?

definitely does...it's really exciting to find some of these older releases now and at good prices too!

The old SK was definitely the best. I sometimes miss my collection. All I have left are pictures and one Dorol.
