I find the application of 139 interesting, in that hardly any (I know, there are a exceptions, but not many)Japanese toys we cover on Skullbrain have enough of a fanbase to sell an edition of 139 out - even 90 is a lot. Tonneran is amazing - but 139 collectors? Makes me think either flippers - unlikely I think - or multiple applications to hedge one's bets.

Yeah, I was surprised at the number. I'll bet Nari looked at the quantity of previous lottery entries and tried to accomodate (what he anticipated to be) everyone. Large editions will help to thwart the flippers.

the black one is awesome, but I had to go with the blue in the end. If I could have two, the black would've been right there.

WOW! It sounds like the Blue is the clear winner so far and everyone was able to score one!!!

Well, maybe not everyone.

It was a toss up between the blue and the black for me as well. The black one seemed more f*cked up (in a good way), like road grime and diesel exhaust. But at least from the pictures, the blue seemed to show more of the details of the sculpt, so I went with blue.

I'll be very interested to see more pix of the black version when people get them.

I wonder how he handles the request for multiple colors Vs request for only 1 color.

When someone asking for 4 colors is picked, he lowers the odds for others to get one really drastically.

I was sent an extra email before the lottery period ended to reduce my choice to just 1. I am really impressed with the effort he's making to please his fans.

I hope the next version is also on a solid color vinyl.

I'd really like to see one on brown or black vinyl in "real type" colors. There's something really concrete about a piece of road uprooting itself and coming to life that is really gritty and I love. I don't think Id be really interested in a crazy colored one or even a glow.
