I'm going in a couple of weeks. They did a good job on the songs i've heard so far.

This seems silly to me, but I have a friend who is a HUGE Green Day fan and can not wait. Different strokes for different folks.

Im just sayin' theres no Six Pack the Musical coming from Greg Ginn or Henry Rollins... Granted the Misfits may have one coming out soon tho... lol. Anyways I just like making fun of Gilman Street and corny Gilman bands

I agree, Avenue Q was one of the best shows I've seen in years. As for American Idiot, I'd probably go see it, but it honestly looks like a sequel to Rent.

I'll be honest, I'd be making up 80% of it via lyrics of his songs (spawned from hell, killed own father, raised by wolves, had sex at age 8 with dark haired girl, started Misfits, Samhain, Danzig, killed many gods and so on.)

You could, but it wouldn't be as good as mine. (Mine is almost the exact same timeline. except that it starts with demonomania. A young wolf in the service gets propositioned by whore on the streets of vietnam)

Re: For all you Operation Ivy/Greenday fans on the boards
Well casting would ultimately decide "good" vs. "bad" but you're probably right since I'd really rather just do an interpretive improve solo work as Danzig instead of writing a musical.
