I got a pretty nice one done in 1987 by Greg Kulz when he was considered one of the Bay Area's up-and-coming originals. He was best known for a Gigeresque organic machine sort of look, although the design he modified for me was more like an Art Noveau illustration with psychedelic influence. It looked great for a few years but the original fluorescent colors have vanished completely and the black work has blurred enough that I have to explain to people what they're looking at. Perils of getting fine-line work done! No regrets, though. Only that I don't have more tattoos. Maybe I'll post a photo at some point so you guys can laugh at me for not thinking ahead better.

And yeah, the Rokuron v Gezora is rockin IMO - I dig the Kintaro the Strong Boy tribute. I almost worked Gezora into my backpiece, and still think about it. He may end up somewhere else, instead, though. At one point, I even talked to my artist about using him in the "vs female pearl diver" depiction, if you know what I mean

I really don't make my way into pics much, esp without being clothed so here's all I could come across for the moment to post up



Got a pair of flying Gamera done in 2004 as my first. Followed up with that half sleeve in 04/05. Next a Biollante half sleeve that I finished in 06. Late 07 I began my back, which should finish this year - a car wreck halted the progress shortly after we started it, as my back was the main injury from the wreck. Wrapped up all outline/detail of the back in 08, knocked out all the black/shading from 08-09, but then my artist moved to CA / went on long vacation in Q2 of 2009, so my first appointment in almost a year was last month, and I got two sessions in. I'm dying to finish, and luckily he's moving back here this Spring
