 Re: Monsters in Bags! (MIB)
I open all my toys, they need to breathe. But what really puzzles me is not opening up the mystery box zag. Bust open that box!

 Re: Monsters in Bags! (MIB)
I kind of get the MIB attachment if the figure has a card, but the Anraku one's with twisty ties? Who'd know it was open ever? Hey, I'll go re-tie my Anraku and they're MIB too again weeee! ALSO I don't get the box, Joe's just burning us freaks who gotta open everything Hahahaha! Seriously, the bags, whatever, but I hope you open that box someday (unless you got 2, than curses to you!)
This thread also reminded me I need a 2-face Nag bad!

 Re: Monsters in Bags! (MIB)
I always take a photograph of my kaijus in bag when I get them before opening. I could post my entire collection this way

 Re: Monsters in Bags! (MIB)
this is the most depressing thread I've seen in a while...! I had to log in just to say this. keeping your vinyl MIB is like looking at pictures of super awesome, super rare, vinyls MIB that don't belong to you. If you don't believe me, send me your MIB vinyl toys, and I'll post pics here. not as ball-busting as your new "sales" thread, Joe. haha I was going to do a "RxH collection sell-off", but I didn't think anyone would give a flying f*ck about a RxH sale these days. ..I mean, I would--but whatever. not next to a prank anraku, nagnagnag sale. -g

 Re: Monsters in Bags! (MIB)
A lot of people have MIB collections, I'm surprised not to see more pics. I know a few real serious collectors who don't open. I don't dig it, but when they sell me that toy (I can dream) it's like it's new and I'll rip it open with my butt.
Joe, do you display them like that in the bag, like in a case? Full of toys in the bag? Kind of like the stores? If so, I wanna see that pic!

 Re: Monsters in Bags! (MIB)
This thread makes me sad... the only thing I've kept bagged is a couple flocked, only because I don't have a real display case to put them in out of the way of dust. Vinyl figures are all about holding them in your hand, feeling the texture, moving the joints, and taking in that degassing and paint smell

 Re: Monsters in Bags! (MIB)
i honestly have no clue how you folks do it!... for the most part 9 times out of 10, i get the toy out of the bag within minutes of opening the mailing box.
you guys have ALOT of self restraint.

 Re: Monsters in Bags! (MIB)
i dont understand how people do this either isnt the point of buying the thing to enjoy it take it out carry it around from room to room with you how can you enjoy a toy if it sealed in a bag (unless you plan on moving soon or getting a new display) to each there own i suppose this just reminds me of collecting star wars and various other action figures where they are worth so much more MIP that is another reason i like collecting kaiju as you can actually take them out of there bags and enjoy them there not just hanging in there protective case
