 Basketball video game recommendation? I want to get a basketball video game for a friend, but I am a bit behind the times with product out there. I want something that is "fun" to play, not necessarily super technical...if that makes sense? Game can be for Wii or PS3. Help! :^)

Re: Basketball video game recommendation? I was also going to suggest NBA Jam but there is no confirmed release date (last I heard it was supposed to be December).
If you're looking for something soon I would suggest NBA 2K10, although it is pretty technical but is still fun.

Re: Basketball video game recommendation? Thanks guys. Is there a present version of Jam, or will it be an entirely new game for Wii? I looked into 2K10, but it sounds, from the reviews, like a good game for "one man showboating", not realistic team play. However, that's just some random reviewer. Whatever happened to those cool two-on-two games? You know, where you could pick two players from real NBA teams? Are those "not cool" anymore? Lol!
