Thanks, this is probably a good idea. If it is a situation where items have been mistakenly oversold, I'd be happy to work out a comprimise with newer releases. I'v been attempting to communicate this but I am sure the translators garble my words beyond recognition.

Lawrence I feel your pain. I hate to say it but it does seem like you might need to contact your credit card company. I don't think SK is purposely trying to rip anyone off but if they are going to do overseas sales they must honor payments made for releases and ship out said items. There does appear to be a serious communication breakdown if you've been waiting on some items for 2 years. I don't know how their accounting or shipping works so who knows maybe the person you had contacted no longer works there, but from what I understand it is a small operation.

From my own experience 2 months on non reply to my emails, followed by a paypal dispute certainly got them rolling and my items shipped that very week.

My impression is that it is just him. I could be wrong. Whatever the action, I would be cautios not to upset him as I'm sure we all want him to keep making awesome toys.

@chris (lixx) - I still havent exhausted every possible diplomatic avenue before i resort to that....I hope being patient will ultimately pay off, but if it doesn't I'll only have myself to blame for waiting so long to do anything about it.

@chris (3x3) - Yeah i definitely don't want to threaten my continued patronage to Siccaluna, that would be a great loss to me, and to discourage him from maknig toys would be an unthinkable loss to our hobby.

It's been two years. Why don't you post a message in the whatever section asking for someone bilingual who can help with writing/wording of an email? There are a ton of people who could probably help.

WIth the business and death of his father I'm sure things have gotten unintentionally mixed up and possibly forgotten. You're way more patient then a lot of people.

So tell me Lixx, you still thinking on not being SKs costumer any more? I'm wondering because you said that before your problem got solved and don't know you current feelings about it. I am pretty much like the first thing you said. Once a supplier/store/srvice lets me down, don't like coming back there and even try to spread the word.

And Mr. evilrabbitry... that's really really f***kd up! Don't know what I would do in your position. Seriously. Perhaps if had the time and money I'd go and look for him. Coz from what I understand It's quite an investment what you've made. Good luck getting your stuff. I'm sure at the end it will be worth it.

Seriously though I have no ill will towards SK. I was just unhappy with lack of communication and needing to go to the brink of dispute to get my items. It was a lesson learned for me that I don't have the patience capacity to go direct. Plenty of people sell SK (albeit at a higher price), and enough stuff floats around on YJA. Besides if I had get something direct I can always use a service. Still love SK. I can't abandon my opinion on the sculpts or paint applications on poor service.

I'm taking it slow these days, trying to save money for other things I need. I'll never do a sell off and I'm sure I'll pick up more in time. One thing is for sure I'm not going to completely deplete my bank account each week like I use to. Nest egg time will make me happier on future purchases.
