I just tell myself it's not a Balzac release anymore than the bagmen without the Balzac skull under the bag

Nice. I do wish the paper bag wasn't paper though. I have a feeling it will be pretty beat up after a few years.

What exactly do you intend to be doing with your new obake dog?

I don't usually like the Dogs, but i love this one. Think I'll try to pick one up.

Also unless you are actually playing with the bag it should hold up great. Balzac has several paper bag toys and the bags hold up fine being one display

Yeah, it's not a deal breaker for me. It's just the occasional detolf rattle when toys might fall over. Worst case scenario you could always make your own bag - I doubt it would be that tough.

Meh- a couple folds or wrinkles would give the bag some extra character... no?

maybe they are just there for blind bag purpose on the heads, and you should actually just throw them out once you open the toy. So it's like a double blind bag surprise. Cool. Stepping up blind bag game hard. Plus if you wanted you could always customize the bag too, or take it to SDCC with you, have hiddy smash it and you got a custom by him BOOM! 8)

P.S.
I accidently scored 2 of these, so if anyone wants to trade me an orange zipface, santa obake dog, silver zombie dog or maybe a blue proto + cash hit me up so we can work something out.

I got the one with the purple/blue/orange spray. Its in the picture on secret-b.com. Also has a gold eye, that you can't really tell from photo. Also black suit.

I'm actually not that impressed by this one. Besides the bag head and new spray to the head, what else does this bring to the table?
It seems like the last 10 versions or so, are just spraying the heads minimally. Regarding the head they are all sort of similiar.

Besides the cool Santa outfit...I haven't seen one obake dog that raised the bar.

And the suit is too similar to the other balzac one.

I'd love to see a mixed parts obake dog and/or solid colored ones. I'm dying for a solid red version. And I'm no fair weather fan.

i think this is the same one i got.

the bag is kind of cheesy, it looks like the eye was cut out with scissors by a 2 year old at the last minute, so i will be displaying mine without it.

I still haven't got mine, hope I get a white suit, I am just glad to get my hands on a GID dog, although a variety of sprays would have been nice.

No white suit, but here is mine, I really like the spray on this one, nice and subtle, shows off the glow nicely and the spray on the eye looks cool. Looks just like the first skeleton suit had it been glowie

Anybody else get something we haven't seen?
