 Re: Monstock Beetlar
Awesome, Andy! That's a complete collection, right (minus the Lil Japan)? Where'd the purple and red Beetlars come from?

 Re: Monstock Beetlar
So sad I didn't get picked in that LiLJapan lottery. I think that is the best one yet.

Anyway, yeah NT I think I'm complete on the Beetlars except for the Lil Japan one. I didn't make it into the lottery on time. If anyone here has a lead on one, please drop me a PM.

Both are most likely dye jobs since Buster Call has no recollection of those vinyl colors being pulled.

 Re: Monstock Beetlar
Hmm. Did you ask him about the figures?
I'm just asking because it's kind of strong to say "most likely" without the provenance in hand (which I don't have either, since the sellers didn't either, unfortunately)

 Re: Monstock Beetlar
OK. Anyway, it's cool (mostly cool, anyway), since I like the colors. But I probably would have paid less had I known the full story. Oh well.

 Re: Monstock Beetlar
I felt the same way Andy. I bought the red version on eBay and was then informed that it was a dye job by another member here. I inquired about it and was told that that was indeed the case.
I was pretty disillusioned by the fact that this was never mentioned in the listing info so I asked for a refund. The seller was totally cool about it but should have been more upfront about the fact that it was a custom.

 Re: Monstock Beetlar
Yeah, that's pretty lame. They look nice - especially the purple - but I wouldn't pay retail for them, and it's weak that the seller wasn't up-front about it. I thought they might be from lucky bags, or protos or something. An official painted version on purple vinyl would look pretty nice. I'm assuming the clear pink was used for the dye jobs.

 Re: Monstock Beetlar
Andy - I hate you! LOL Such a nice collection.
I was lucky enough to get in on the lottery and win. This new colorway is primo. (I don't think I've ever used that expression until now, but it deserves it!)
Love these guys and LilJapan's artwork is the shit! Love the new header artwork specifically for this release too.

Amazing collection Andy. The blue lightening & green painted are among the best minis ever.
Nice job with the new one Hiro!
