How did you go putting the small Devil Phantom head on the Henshin body HOTTROD? My glow one was looking way too hard to do, so I have left it off. I will take pics of mine maybe tonight and post.

Just on the Skeleton King, I have seen a cartoon on TV recently and yesterday I realised just how much of a nod (or rip off if you like) the villain of the show is to our friend Dokuro here. This lead villain doesn't have the same head at all, but does have big chest armour with rib bones raised on it and this sits over a translucent looking blueish purple body - and you can see the organic "guts" inside. Also has gloves and boots going on. The villain is even called Skeleton King!!
The cartoon is about a kid and a group of cyborg monkeys in an old school robot defending the earth.

HOTTROD - My blue invader is way more clear than blue - especially head, hands and feet. The actual vinyl has just a small tint of blue. My red invader is red through and through though.

Nice cae!!is the one on the right the Bxh version??I was reading at RobotJapan that someone mentioned the armor tends to leave a haze on the body-have you noticed this or is it just rumor??I just picked up a GID 12" Invader from Brians recent trip to Japan-cant wait to see it!!!

No -that's the recent Takara reissue - the Bxh version is a variant of that, featuring a smoke body with GID internals and alien brain, plus a slight redeco of the DokuroKing armor. It's very cool - the only pic I have of it at the moment is a GID group shot. (DK is in the upper right, holdin his head up high)

That's a Takara Myclone - they did some pretty cool Henshin kaiju but the figs are somewhat short on quality in my experience . . .

I should have recognized the form factor. I have the microman set that I picked up for cheap last year. kind of cheapy but cool none the less...

Unfortunately, I have nice and loved originals spider vein cracks and all, I love em. I do have some suits and vinyls of the invaders and the walder suits too. Those I need to dig out.

Damn Paul, they are sweet. Nice collection. Did you have those since you were a kid or you picked them up over the years. $8 so cheap.

But forget the Henshins...how's that lamp. Now that is cool.

And Julian, the box and shirt make a great combo. Your Toxic suit looks much more meaner with the extra colour and detail over my flocked suit. Though my flocked suit does have a sleek ready to pounce look about it.

Actually, I got them back when Pony toys had dug them out of storage.I don't think they knew what they were! Alot of them were in horrible condition.I still should have gotten them all.

Thats sweeet Paul-ive been wanting some OG Henshin but youve gotta dig deep to buy one nowadays-great buy-Julian-good looking on the green walder body-it really makes the suit look great
