Totally agree this entire package especially the art is my choice for toy of the year so far and so bummed I missed out. Its going to be hard for any other toy to come close to how nice all this came out. The art though, man I just cant get over how amazing all of it came out. Man I would love the opportunity to just buy a 18x24 print of that insert. Even it it was a black and white or different color so it wouldnt take away from the package I would be happy.

The insert is easily worth framing, every other month it will be flipped to show the other side.

I was just looking at the header art & subconsciously hit CTRL+P & my printer exploded.

aps for taking the piss, Coop.... all in good fun..... but I was wondering if you could inform us/me a bit on your process in completing the header/packaging. It looks like .AI but I've also seen you hand paint half tones as well so it could be a bit of both. I like your subtle use of gradients. Sorry if this is a bad question for this thread, if so just disregard....

The toy on it's own is pretty great, the whole package is insane. If I got one I'd consider not opening it just for the effect, but I'm weak and need to crack all my crap open. Really cool stuff, can't wait to see what the next release is (even though it seems it will only be available in LA and NYC, I needs me a mule )

The Mishka one is sweet - I saw the packaging, and it as well as the overall "concept" are killer.

I did the linework the old-fashioned way, with a brush and ink on paper, then scanned them, did the colors and layouts in Photoshop. The halftones are mechanical, done in Photoshop using the color halftone tool on a B&W image. The front bit is a photo of the Caveman, repeated, and on the back is a nude photo.
