Defintely exciting! I've actually been able to finally watch some in HD while visiting my sister's this week. Big difference from watching illegally online and hoping the stream doesn't go down! My predictions were way off, Detroit really needs to win the next two at home or they're toast. I can't believe how many penalties and giveaways they committed in the 3rd last night. Chicago also needs to step it up, the Canucks are no joke.

Fair enough. I think that Crosby plays a more complete game than Ovie but Ovie is the most exciting player in the league. My buddies give me sh!t all the time for actually liking Ovie and his game.

Looks like Boston will make the ECF, hopefully the Pens will be there too. It will be amusing to see how Matt Cooke is treated by Bruins fans and players.

I still can't believe Mark Recchi is still playing...and is staying healthy while other players get injured. I love that guy!!

My hate for the Pens goes back to the Ulf Samuelsson days (I also never liked Jagr and Lemieux) when he blew out Neely's knee. My main issue with the new Pens is Crosby. Here is a good example:

The hit by Samuelsson on Neely was dirty, so was the hit by Cooke on Savard this season. How could you not like Lemieux??? Jagr wasn't a leader but was a stellar hockey player. Some fans here in Pitt still don't like Jagr because all of the bullshit whining he did for months before he was traded.

Here's mine bert: Bill Guerin, Zach Parise (wish he was a Bruin), Niklas Lidstrom, Rob Blake, Pavel Datsyuk, Mark Recchi. And I really like what I've seen from Johnny Boychuk on the B's. He seems like he has a lot of grit.

The loss of Krejci really hurts, but I think we can overcome it, now that Savard is back. Just slot the SOB(otka) back up the middle where he plays his best and we're still 4 deep at center. I'm sure Julien will play it safe and put Trent Whitfield in for Krejci, but I'd rather see a Brad Marchand get some playoff experience, since he's actually got a future with the team, unlike Whitfield. With a 3-0 series lead, there's no better time to do it.

All that said, it's frustrating to see all these eastern teams getting killed with injuries while the west seems to be relatively unscathed. I can't think of a single name player in the west out with an injury.

Favorite modern player? Not sure, but the first that comes to mind is Pavel Datsyuk. How that guy wins so many one-on-one battles in the corners is beyond me.

I'd have to agree with you there. Watching Pavel skate in the offensive zone virtually untouched around players floors me. Guy is an absolute wizard with the puck. Kane for the Blackhawks is pretty good too, but no one can touch Datsyuk.
