Well, here's a comparison pic next to a Sarumon.
It's pretty damn big.

I like the size,texture, and all. I dont like the shape of the feet in relation to the skinny legs I also dont like how the little hands come out of the eyebrows.

Rumble monsters did a nice job painting, but its gonna take a crazy painted 1 off to get me jumping.

I like it very much overall...

It's like BEMON and ZOLLMEN had a retarded baby--and it's got Bemon's eyes. I like Sarumon for what it is, but the other KillerJ sculpts I've seen just look like a mismash of whatever is popular at the time (smoking star: blopus kind of body, mutant head kind of face, bemon stacks).
...I mean, I know a lot of what we're into around here borrows from something, but KJ stuff just strikes me as "trying too hard".

I think the size of it helps it out big time. but I'll pass.

I think it's cool regardless of what other toy it may look like, & anything painted by Wakahara is a weakness of mine
But this thing made in a gid vinyl w/some subtle sprays would be awesome!

I kinda wish it had no legs/arms and was just a big ugly ball. We need more big ugly balls. (have fun with that)

This is exactly the first thing that came to mind when I saw it.

Unfortunately it seems to be the norm these days . . . blech!

Lottery to the public is better then secret releases in Japan only or in limited #'s at fests (usually in japan only too.) I don't get disliking the sales method, seems fair, I see no hype behind it. Hype would be "ON SALE THIS TIME FIRST COME FIRST SERVED GOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!" feeding a "OH GOD I GOTTA GO GET ONE NOW HOLY SHIT!" attitude. Then when it sells out in SECONDS people freak and fill the "Wants" thread.

I think the toy is ok, not great or horrible, the sales method or maker or (assumed) feelings behind it's creation don't factor into my feelings on the toy.

I enjoy this toy...I would like to have one on my shelf...ideally one with a bit more color though. I think a rainbow version along the same lines of the jyarinko zudon would look great on this sculpt.

Expressions on toys are usually a big selling point for me. The eyes and mouth on this guy just annoy the hell out of me. I can't get past the pastry-bag extruded boarder outlining the eyes. I guess he had to do something to try and dress up the flat, non-expressive eyes. Then there's the mouth. If anything screamed for teeth it's this guy. What's he going to do, gum his enemies to death? Maybe when he bends over to try and grab his opponents with those stubby little arms he falls over and crushes them to death.

I like some of Killer J's stuff but this is just to much for me to look at..Color apps may make it a little more appealing, but I really don't think it's going to help it much..Just my humble oppinion!

It's the eyes that bug me. Not even that they're Bemon eyes, but they don't fit well. The mini Mutant Head mouth I'm fine with.

Maybe he just releases sarin gas and kills every MFer in the room. He could also have laser eyes and/or breathe fire/have a sonic scream that is so loud it shatters his own teeth out.

I like the sonic scream idea. A mouthful of chipped/broken teeth could help.
