The USPS lady carrier just ran to my door and left a missed delivery slip. Door bell did not ring. I've about had it with these fuckers.

Here is the best part - she didn't even carry the package with her to the door!

Next USPS package I'm expecting, I am video recording her delivery and showing the post office how fucked up she is.

Once they fire her, maybe she can get a job (not) delivering pizza at Papa Johns.

Double whammy: unionized and working for the government. I guess unless it's EMS (and unfortunately they can only take your package so far if you live abroad) postal workers worldwide suck ass. I only have problems when there is a sub on the route (she does the same thing- has the slip ready doesn't ring bell).

Best thing you can do is get in good with your postman. I chat mine up whenever I see him (which is often as I'm always walking around) and in turn he's super cool. He's actually given me his cell phone number, so say I'm at work and he has a EMS package I need to sign for- I can call him and meet up with him on his route and get it (it's a short route).

The one in the city is meh. Leaves the box open to the elements all of the time, etc. the ones at my house in the burbs are really nice and always leave my priority mail boxes in big plastic bags in bad weather. the only time they leave slips is when it's an EMS package and requires the signature.

I think the human error factor is too high in standard postal delivery, which is why I started using a PO Box 15 years ago. Almost zero package delivery problems, and in the very rare cases where there has been a problem, I'm pretty sure it was the sender's fault - either they didn't send it, or they illegibly scribbled the address.

According to the USPS, you can get a PO Box starting at $12/6 months.

not only do they deliver my packages(sometime leave slips when the need to be signed) but also will just have some random old person personally come to my door (this must be something to help senior citizens do something with there time) plus my postal lady will pick how ever many packages i can jam in and around my mailbox

FU to Gov. Gregoire for adding so much extra tax on BOTTLE WATER that I will not be able to afford it. This, after saying "only the rich by bottled water." How out of touch.

FU to my company who has "the old boys club" running the department. If you're not in it (like the union) you're fucked. Which is what's happening to myself and one other guy who got non-promotions to become non-art directors. We have the responibilities of AD's without the title or pay. THEN the company hires a guy with no experience as an AD (full pay and title) and I come to find that this other jackass who leads up our Flash group (and doesn't know anything about Flash, unlike I who has 10 years in it)...was made an AD by the ex-creative director (all of them part of that "club"). Fuckers. Time to start milking it!
