I started a new series on my blog called Facets of Interest. It's an interview with some of the artists that I admire. When I met Ricky in Tokyo during the Mishka Harajuku opening, I asked him if I could set up a little Q&A with him. Well, here it is.

Be prepared to have 100's of teenagers emailing you wanting a ghoul or a bechigon now. I think the larvagons will scare them too much.

BTW, I totally just bought a Bull Alien off eBay after posting that photo and remembering the toys as a kid.

What I love in Ricky's works is that he is going in his own - very original - direction and still keeps true to the fundamentals of pachimons. Humble and talented !
