I can imagine the conversation before the photo shoot... "Were gonna need to toughen this thing up a little. The tag just isn't enough."
"Here. We'll throw some smokes in there so it looks less like my wife's coin purse."

"Here. We'll throw some smokes in there so it looks less like my wife's coin purse." Seriously! But then people bought up those recent plush Bounty Hunter teddy bears too. There are some people/brands who seem to get a pass. These people (ie. KAWS) can make ashtrays, doormats etc. and retain their "street cred".

Saddle Creek = so true! Best crack on a product I've read this morning; although it's still early...

 Re: skull kun pouch
As far as I can tell BxH has always been a lifestyle brand first and a toy company second. I don't think we need to freak out every time they release a crappy $400 jacket or useless accessory as long as the toys are still fun. That said I do kind of like this pouch.

Kids are lining up to watch Star Wars or go to Linkin Park concerts. It doesn't give them street cred. I never understood what was "punk" about BxH (or OriginalFake for that matter). Punks don't wear overpriced brands, whatever Hikaru may say... There's a reason why OF's neighbors in Tokyo are Prada, Louis Vuitton and BAPE...
