gabbagabba wrote: Not sure if these are dyed or not. They look like a really dark brown to me. I suppose you could get that color if you dyed red vinyl black. Both these vader/kaiju spray versions and the newest rainbow version have the same brown/black vinyl. RAINBOW VERSION?! Anyone have some pics? I assumed the red vinyl from the first run was dyed black for a black release. Look at the black Public Hazard. It came out slightly after the silver flake version, and it has shiny little flakes in it. I think he just left some blanks and dyed them. It's probably cheaper/easier then having a run of black vinyl made, especailly if you're going to make a limited small run. I think the red, green and black Drunk Boy were all dyed from the milky white, the white would have been perfect to dye. I think it's really cool if that's how he did it, smart move.

You know that a lot of people are looking for it and you buy two not knowing what you'll do with the second one ? Maybe a custom ? Man - it's hard to stay polite

Unless you made the toy or had any part in the making or designing of the toy, you have no business painting on it. If you want to customise something, get a Honda.

Re: The "What you just got in the Mail" Thread
Wow really guys? Whatever cry all you want and no I didn't highball for both. The fact is I love Horvath's work and I am an avid collector of it. The more I think about it the extra will likely be sent to a artist to do a custom for me. Not really sure who yet but I have a few ideas. I think it is funny that any of you think you have the right to tell me what I can do with something I bought. I also think it is funny that you claim making a custom is ruining a toy when there are many artists on here that do exactly that are held in very high reguard. Carry on if you continue to have a problem with me you can PM me so we don't ruin this thread. Thanks.
Oh and I have a Honda thank you.

I have the right to tell anyone I want what they should do with what they bought. Sadly they have the right to tell me to eat shit in response. Customs vs. Non-Customs? Really? Still? YAWN!

Re: The "What you just got in the Mail" Thread
One of the most awesome Pus' ever! Yet still, on the low end, I went by a "free" box today where someone had given up on their rummage sale. What I found was so tacky, I had to take it and leave 'em a quarter: "I am Lord of Castle GreySkull and I feast on root beer float brain fizzies! Yea!" Some kind of tough, resinous plastic like a cutrate Melmac®...

I had one of these that I picked up on YJA a while back. I won it without any competition at all and I think that was simply because it looks so similar to the Ukiyo version. I passed it on to the God of Blobpus collectors though. I have never seen the other version that was released at the same time though. Nice pick-up Andrew.

You have to be careful on these....due to the popularity, there's some folks that have been making fugazi (fake) copies.
