I really wanted one when I first saw it, because I thought it was a Lamour Supreme colab. After finding out it wasn't, I thought it was kind of a rip.

But LS ripped the design off of a bootleg Madball, everything here is a rip. If you like it, you like it man! I don't care who made it, I thought it was fun, I was just late and broke as a joke anyway.

So far as I'm aware, that was just a speculation at this site, not something that Mori actually committed to, however I'd be happily corrected if I'm wrong.

For what it's worth, there have been 11 official Shintosan releases to date. 12 if you count the possibly legitimate/possibly bootleg unpainted green with yellow eyes.

Looks like Kaiju Blue has an awesome Real X Head // UAMOU release coming up this weekend [29 May 2010]. I am really digging the illustrated cats. Kaiju Blue website has all the info on this one.

The line was called something like "12 Generals"- can't remember the exact name. I think this is a reference to the 12 Heavenly Generals present in certain forms of Buddhism:

I always assumed that 12 different characters were intended, but it is interesting to know that there have been 12 Shinto-sans.
