shooting the Mexican Army with those cannons from the Fort was pretty fun.....until we got to the 200th Mexican..... then it was just kinda repetitive.

Last night, I got my bounty up to $6,500. Aaron was getting up there too, but I accidentally blew his head off with a shotgun blast from back.

Tell me about it. At first I thought well everyone is having connection issues so I figured it would go away. Mine never disconnects, the game just freezes. I'll suddenly not be able to move, or I'll sink below the terrain, or I'll be flying i nthe air. Either that or when teleporting it will say "loading" and then never do anything. I suspected I had a defect copy but my g/f's copy does the same thing. Hope it's not my ps3. It's a brand new from december 09.

where do you keep your ps3? it might be overheating.

I moved it off the unit to the floor last night and reset my internet settings, seemed to help for a little bit at least. I did notice the glass shelf it was sitting on was quite warm after moving it.

Anyone here know anything about ps3 network settings? I've done a little research and everyone says set nat type 2 (which mine is set to). I did a network test and the download is 7mb but the upload is a crap 800kb. Could that be the issue? I never seem to disconnect from the game or get error messages, but I do freeze alot!

So I played on XBOX last night for the first time in Free Roam. Luckily 2 good things happened: 1- A posse invited me in w/o me having any experience and getting shot all the time 2- I eventually picked up a few good guns from dudes someone else killed to be able to kill guys myself. Weapons make the difference. I couldn't kill a soul with the BS I had when I jumped in. But I found a sniper rifle, auto shotgun and a better pistol and started getting some good kills in!

I gotta find a solid posse to hook up with though.

you can get exp pretty quickly. just find a gang hideout you can do alone, run through it, then vote to replay as soon as it is over. you'll have better starter weapons before you know it

It's rare you'll find a posse that you can actually go an do missions with. Once in awhile you'll find people who just want to replay Solomon's Folly or another hide out, even rarer when you get 5-6 guys with EXP that can do it in a minute and a half. I got lucky and jumped like 8 levels a few days ago doing this. Most of the time though you get childish assheads who might posse up with you and then start blasting you as soon as the mission is over.

Am I the only one who mutes people? With the exception of Loaf, I've muted everyone because it annoys me to no end. I keep thinking it's a bunch of 15 year kids talking like surfer dudes saying dumb shit like "Totally owned you dude har har har...." Sounds like Beavis and Butthead. Yesterday the one time I did not freeze and had this guy going "Lixx dont shoot me I'm cool" so I kept him unmuted for awhile but then he started blasting me and possed up with another level 1 guy. So I rode around fast and furious with a mauser popping the shit out of them.

yeah, i spent time last night doing Soloman's Folly over and over again by myself. jumped up 3 levels. finally hit level 20 and got my sniper rifle. Then Justin and I did the Churasba hide out over and over just cause it was fun. then we spent like an hour killing this one guy who kept respawning. Justin must have had 50 kills on that guy. lol....

That little fucker was annoying. He had a suck-ass person in his posse too, but that guy was smart enough to quit before it got nasty. Other than that, I am leveling up a little slower now. I'm just glad Kirkland was down to do the hideouts over and over last night.

Rock Star is releasing another patch for both PS and XBox at the end of next week so hopefully this might clear up some of my issues with terrain freeze. I'm totally down to do hide outs over and over as I never get bored doing that. Not much for gang matches but with a big SB posse I'd be down for just about anything.

I found a posse that wasn't a preorganized group of pals where everyone was cool and respectful and we played a few missions. I guess I got lucky. No "donkey punch" humor either, it was pretty fun. I hope I keep getting lucky since none of my friends play the same games as I do or do it on PS3.

I got 100% completion today.
Hopefully this will give me more time to focus on MP.

I hate Halo. I also am not into 1 game that's PS3 exclusive but like some that are XBOX exclusive, hence my choice to get one vs. the other.

All I ever see any of my friends playing is COD:MW2 aka SNOOZE FEST! I think I'm like the 1 guy around hating on that game. Modern Warfare=BORING

I'm fine ripping through the single player mode for now. I killed some dude by accident and lost some honor. Fuck him though. I was strolling back to town and stopped and the guy busted his gun out and shot me! He wasn't marked red on the map but I slaughtered his ass then lost honor. What a dick. I skinned his horse though, that's what he gets!

I wish I could pee on corpses after looting them.
