 Re: THE TURNING POINT...
For me, I had been collecting 60's & 70's universal Monster toys. I wanted to pick up some Nice Japanese vinyl, but all the good 70's stuff is really pricey. I lucked into a Hawaiian version Baragon Bullmark, and while researching it, this whole other world was opened up to me. I had seen & admired pieces in various shops in SF, Portland & Philly, but never felt the need to buy them. Now I am stunned, and addicted. I have about 17 pieces coming in, including many of my new favorite piece Matango (Standard Pink, charectics Orange, glow trike & Beams trike, and a mini guy). Matango flipped me out as a kid, and I freaked out to see how many beautiful vinyl's there are out there. I am focusing on classic Kaiju, but the more I see the ghost fighters and other designer pieces, I feel powerless against them. I hope my mortgage survives!!! This is all leading to me to decide to get some of my own designs made into vinyl. Now the legwork begins...

Now you're talking, one of the best start out pieces I've seen since starting this thread (but then I'm a sucker for the old-school stuff)!Shiverbones wrote: For me, I had been collecting 60's & 70's universal Monster toys. Kinda sad, but because of its height, it ends up at the back of my shelf... I should really take it out more often to play with, now that it's been totally overwhelmed by kaiju. Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but can someone tell me what that glittery godzilla like toy is knocked over on the left side of the pic? You can pm me if you want, thanks!!!
