Re: National Donut Day!! There is a ma and pa donut store here in Buffalo called "Paula's Donuts". One store, no chain, and they make the best donuts ever. Reminds me of the 70's before Dunkin Donuts stopped actually making quality donuts. Remember how you use to actually get cream inside the donut? Not the thumbnail they try to pass off nowadays.
Anyhow I only go once a year (usually when my friend who loves them visits) but we got a dozen and they destroyed us last weekend. This place puts so much filling that it's more cream than actual donut. Gushing out the sides. I ended up throwing the last 4 out for fear of serious artery clog!

Re: National Donut Day!! Homer Simpson donut? 7/11 was doing a Simpson promo when the movie came out and they were selling pink donuts. People were buying them by the dozens. I grabbed one and I was then sad for it was one of the nastiest donuts I ever had.

Well, at least i hope its that they are still selling them and that its not just a leftover.
