 Re: monster drawings
Thanks! Sure, thanks for asking! I have been making my living as an artist for about 5 years now. My main gig is my Halloween art company "Shiverbones" where I make limited edition paper die-cuts, postcards, paintings and books. I also sell in galleries, private commissions and recently started painting Wacky Packages for Topps. here are some trading cards I made An example of a Halloween oil: This is a Wacky Package Painting for Topps These following have characters I'd really like to see made into vinyl, I think they would translate well. Any help in getting started in that process would be greatly appreciated! These show The Clown Machine, Tantrum Bear & Bubblegum Spider Thanks for looking, I hope I didn't over post! my website is matthewkirscht.com

 Re: monster drawings
haha! Thanks Jeff! It took along time to get there, 15 years of slugging away at Halloween now!
I appreciate the suggestion. I have a few sculptor friends I am taking to now about doing some resin pieces. I have tried making molds many times and always failed so I need a lot for help in that area.
Love your work By the way!

 Re: monster drawings
Thanks Sumatra! Weird coincidence for sure! Getting the Wacky Job was like a dream come true, I also loved them as a kid & stuck them everywhere. I can't see any of the products they spoofed without instantly calling it the Wacky version. I've got two more coming out next month as well as another 60 sketch cards for them.

 Re: monster drawings
hahaha, thanks! Yours seems pretty dreamy too!
The 2nd Wacky Packages book came out a little bit ago, so now the 1st 15 series have been documented. The best part is whenever possible the image is taken from the original art, & those images are simply jaw dropping. Norm Saunders was such a good painter, and a lot of the flair is lost in the printing of the cards.

 Re: monster drawings
Cute and ugly. I did this Globby(and Steven) illustration for international Globby Day. I'd love to see a bubblegum pink Globby someday. Bwana's characters are really fun to draw. This guy was drawn based on a description that some kid wrote for a class. The teacher wanted to surprise him with an illustration for his birthday, so I did this. (I drew it, my gf cleaned up the line work, and them I colored it)

All the way back to his pulp covers from the 30's, he was just incredible from day one!
