I know there is not a lot of love for these figures, and to my knowledge I am the only member on the board that has all of them.
As there are a ton of new members showing up everyday on here, I thought it would expose them to a sculp that they might not know about.
If my info is correct (LMK if it isn't) the Vinyl Junkies line are produced by the wife of Blobpus. Trying to find any informaton about them is next to impossible.

The 1st Viking is the SF 42 Pink Taipei GID. March 2007


2. WF 42 Green GID with green eye, this version also came with a orange eye. March 2007


3. Black SuperFestival 42 ltd. March 2007 This also came with a magenta eye.


4. Orange Sf 43 LTD 15 pcs. This version has a jewel eye. July 2007

6. This is the Toy Tokyo Silver/pewter released at SDCC July 2007 through Toy Tokyo.

Really not bad at all...cool interests.

7. The AM/PM GID released at the Wonder Festival August 20, 2007

At the Super Science Center Festival 44 September 30, 2007 they released 3 Halloween versions of the Viking.


8. Version 1: Black body, white bones, with orange head.

11. For Christmas 2007. Old Balance released the Christmas Viking with red body, white highlights, and a green & red head/brain. Limited to 20 pcs. (I added the bow)

No name that I can find, but I like RootBeer Float.


13. The only Viking without a helmet sold on a wrestling site Feb. 2008. The name is El ZOMBI muchacho malo.
It's based on a Japanese wrestler, Kazushige Nosawa who wrestled mostly in Mexico, then went back to Japan.

I believe those are sculpted by Cosmo Liquid. Sweet, sweet perfect sculpts. They just have such a wide stance. They are hard to display.

14. Gold Viking released May 2008, at Superfestival 46 Japan. This Viking also has the marbilizing effect of blended colors of vinyl.


#15, is a collaboration with the Blobpus Diablo released 05/26/2008. Champagne gold glitter, with gold jeweled eye, and red jeweled eyes in the skull patch. The more common version came with a red eye.


16. This is the Taipei Toy Festivil 2, ONE-UP exclusive version. Limited black clear version, with a red jeweled eye. Released August 2008, only available at the TTF and One-Up.



17. Milky white body, blue eye, and hilighted in silver, released at Super Festival 49 in Japan, January 2009

very cool, thanks for sharing. oddly enough, i was just reading the profile on these guys in the encyclopedia of kaiju the other day. i knew i had seen a few in collection shots before, but they seemed to get very little love. guess i was wrong

i really like the marbling in the 'root beer float' [#12]... is it clear/gid?

Skull Vikings are one of my favorits. I had no idea there were so many. I have probably seen only 4 colorways. I love all the GID's . The Orange Sf so nice too!! It looks like lava.

What about Cheezer man! I am not a fan of any of the vinyl junkies but I had to pick up a Cheezer from Kaiju Taro's sale. He's so fun.

Started as a TT exclusive Viking. Canary yellow base, Caribbean blue for the wraps, and Fuchsia for the bones.

STORMBRINGER 06/2008

My 2nd custom of the Vinyl Junkies, Skull Viking. This also started life as a TT exclusive Viking. A little imagination, paint, hair & accessories makes this Viking look more like his ancestors did.
