I thought it was an SBxRH combo from the few pics I first saw (madmantis) but now I see the frog and junk. Not into rhinestone eyed unpainted, but am interested in future versions. Pretty fun.

That mini Oni is pretty cool. Still no Mini-Oni's in my collection. I passed on the 2 versions that Roto/Lulubell had a few months back....but this one could be a winner. Any idea if it'll make it to the states?

Yo I figured this would be where to post this. I promised someone a crack at the clear orange unpainted bigaro first but can't remember quite who it was.

ha! so yeah...my collection is like 95% RxH and I still like it just fine after all this time. the real die-hards have endured, survived, and do just fine without all the craze and hype-stuff that was part of the RxH scene a couple years ago. In fact, I like it better this way. less BS. lots of selection. still great pieces to admire. hardly any flipping. I knew I would be with RxH for the long-run when I got my first taste. It's great to be able to enjoy it, and take it at my own pace without worrying about the wallet-busting task of catching up on something I snoozed on.

Our existence is a quiet and sometimes lonely one, but there are still some die-hards out there!


now having said that, I'll say this: that new Akro looks awful IMHO. I dubbed that one "half-assed Akro". youch!

Yeah, I still love what I've got and have been adding some major choice OG pieces lately. Have to agree with your comment about the Akro too, but I guess there are some people somewhere who love the rub/ lazy paint style. Maybe?

yeah...Mr. Mori keeps pumping out rubs, so someone other than he must love it too. just not my thing so much though I do have a few examples of it.

I've gotta say that that Akro is the coolest one since the Walder MA-02 and would certainly look good together with the purple Chaos as well.
Rubs do tend to often (certainly not always) suck though, I know what you mean. The half rub number is ok but I wouldn't want to see too much of it in my collection.

From what I understand Goto-Sans eyesight isn't what it used to be together with higher production runs, rubs seem to be the alternative to sprays. The metallic Mutant Head and the recent metallic ME has some cool spray work but these more complex sprays seem to be less frequent.

Usually I find the half & half paint jobs sort of hooky. The purple/gold with the black/white rub on this Akro really work for me. Looks sort of royal in my estimation.
