as much as Jesse sometimes annoys me, it would be a shame if he were to go. He's a necessary character. Although killing him in the finale would be cool. I hate it when he says "that's crazy, yo...."

Agreed. He provides a necessary balance.

Something tells me that Walt Jr. is going to play a crucial role at some point. I'm not sure why, but now that his mom is breaking bad, something's gotta break, and it's probably going to be Walt Jr.'s heart.

I wish it had ended at season 2 with the plane wreck. This season is horrid and I cant stand any single character. :(

Ok so everyone is caught up. WTF is up with Walt running those thugs over? Cause they, probably, killed a kid? To protect Jesse? To start a GD Drug War in the streets of Albuquerque? That is one thing I like about the show. It is insane sometimes. I stand firm by my Fly comment. I don't recall The Shield slowing down, not even one episode. I wanted to strangle Shane myself it was agonizing...

Yeah, definitely to save Jesse, who was about to be killed because he was outnumbered, and foolishly brandished a gun. I'm not sure how or why Walt was there waiting. After what Jesse told him about Gus' other guys, he probably wanted to observe in person. Also for what it's worth, he'd given Jesse the impression that he'd betrayed him, so this was a chance to show that they were still basically on the same side. That's how I read it, anyway. Still a lot of unanswered questions about that scene, though.

I didn't mean to say that your take on "The Fly" was wrong, just offering my different perspective on it, that's all.

I'm also curious to know if we're going to see Tuco's surviving cousin again. Loss of legs doesn't necessarily kill off that family's vengeful anger...

I'm pretty sure the "cleaner" took care of the last surviving twin in the hospital.
It's safe to say that the twins/opposing drug lord storyline is a done deal.

Next season I expect to see:
Walt and Mr. Pollo's relationship building either for the better or worse
Jessie either going deeper down the hole or making a turn towards a full recovery
Hank recovering and jumping back on the estranged blue meth case
Skylar continuing to pick Walt's pockets

Forget what I said about Badger, he seems to be gone anyway. The character I hate with a passion is Skylar. What a self rightous b#tch She needs to die.

I thought the ending was somewhat ambiguous but according to show runner Vince Gilligan it wasn't. Don't read till you've seen the finale:

Breaking Bad makes Sons of Anarchy look like Disneyland...
I was yelling at the teevee for Jesse to pull the GD trigger!

and this especially sucks. words from the maker:

""We certainly couldn’t go to the Pacific Northwest or to the ocean or any of that kind of stuff because we just wouldn’t have the money. That’s where art kind of meets commerce. We face questions on a smaller scale than that every week, because while your imagination can sometimes be limitless, as a producer you have to realize the very physical and financial boundaries that you face""

Yeah, hollywierd can spend 100million on a Robin Hood re-re-remake that no one will watch...and we get compromises.

Being late to the show I've had to absorb all three seasons in the last two weeks. Watched the finale of season 3 today. Wow! I knew Gale was being coerced into taking the cooking op over but so glad Walt caught it. I like that the end will hopefully brings Walt and Jesse's relationship full circle because they had been drifting for awhile. Can't wait for season 4!

Post Re: I heart Breaking Bad
The finale resolved questions about Gale's character that I wasn't sure about before. There always seemed to be something creepy and untrustworthy about him, but as it turns out, he wasn't hiding some secret evil plot-twisting secret, he was just a lonely sensitive guy who desperately wanted approval and friendship, which Gustavo cunningly exploited.

I loved the opening sequence with the younger Hank and Skylar shopping for a home. That scene and the line "we've got nowhere to go but up" struck an ironic chord that probably resonated into real life for a lot of viewers.

A lot has been said about Coen brothers tributes planted in episodes of "Breaking Bad." This one had a doozy in the line "you don't have to do this," spoken by both Walt and Gale when they thought they were about to be killed. In case anyone doesn't know that's from "No Country for Old Men."

Carla Jean Moss: You don't have to do this.
Anton Chigurh: [smiles] People always say the same thing.
Carla Jean Moss: What do they say?
Anton Chigurh: They say, "You don't have to do this."

What an amazing season of a show that keeps getting better. It's going to be a long wait for Season 4.

Im just about to start watching Breaking Bad so im going to skip what has been said in earlier posts but im very much looking forward to it.

Literally just finished Sparticus Blood & Sand S1, which was interesting .. Sereous amounts of nekkidness in show but unfortunately its as much of a sausage-fest as a boob-fest

ah, it's such a long time before there will be new episodes on. tonight's emmys were a lot more entertaining than i would have thought, and seeing paul and cranston make their acceptance speeches was great and will hold me over. it might have been too much to expect writing and filming awards too but those elements are at least as good as the acting.

anyways, here's a good s3 gif.

I hate the major networks. I happen to be browsing this morning and they would not even mention Cranston or Paul winning nor the show. Obviously it has to do with the content of the show and the fact that it is not on a major network. Hate the stupid PC world...

Embarrassingly late to this thread. I never wanted to watch this because of the image of him in his underwear on the dvd cover. Dumbest mistake ever. Great first season. It fills in the gap for other well written shows. AMC is definitely on a role.
