Re: The official Super7 Super Shogun Stormtrooper news thread.
What were these about? http://www.flickr.com/photos/fiendsaint ... 695057163/Seriously, I wanna resin Trooper, someone wanna hook it up? Looked great, in the process of trying to find money for one of these big hoe's. Fett will rull too. Will there be a Vader or C-3PO? I'd hope so, to complete the cool helmet-based-robot-esque figures. I'd love to see some less HUGE characters done up this way but won't hold my breath (IG-88, Snowtrooper.) So much can be done with this mix up, even head nodder style non-bot characters (similar to how that michael jackson toy is) of Luke, Han and Bossk (yeah, screw off, Bossk is awesome!)

The resin troopers were the raffle tickets - the number was on the foot. Oh, wait, not just the number. It was TK + your number.

Re: The official Super7 Super Shogun Stormtrooper news thread.
My son, David, who will be 10 in December, won the Shogun Stormtrooper lottery last night at Super 7. On his behalf, I wanted to thank Brian, Glenn, Frank, Josh, Alex and everyone who was involved. He has had his eye on the trooper since way back in April when he stopped in at Super 7 to say hi to Alex and to kill some time prior to a school tsuzumi performance as part of the annual Cherry Blossum Festival. Notice the trooper displayed behind him. Of course, David, is no stranger to Super 7 because I have been taking him there since he was 5. In 2005, he convinced meto buy my first mini zag there while on a visit to get him kids kaiju. Most locals know him and Slim can attest to his non-stop talk about toys, especially ones he designs out of clay. The white portions are glow clay.
Anyway, last night we went to S7 with me expecting no more than a resin figure as a lottery ticket, when David told me he was "gunning" for the Shogun Stormtrooper after helping me open mine the day before and being told not to handle it too roughly. After his win and pictures we went out to celebrate, "Kirkland-style" (just joking Kirkland!). Afterwards, I dropped him at his Mom's and snapped this last picture for the night. I heard he then hauled the figure up a bunkbed ladder and slept with it. Thanks Super 7 for providing him with one of these to actually play with.

I thought it was pretty cool that a kid won it. Congratulations to David! I think it was the fedora. That hat always seemed to bring Indiana Jones luck, too.

So with DYBBUKIM's son winning and Terrell winning I'm glad to see the trooper went to two kids. But it's really cool your son won. Hopefully he's hooked for life.

Congratulations David! Hands down, one of the neatest things ever posted on SB. That kid that is still lurking within me was thrilled!

He's here and as everyone else has attested to, it's PHENOMENAL. Amazing, absolutely amazing, Thank you ALL who worked for this. Also, seems the person who 'glued' in the orange cap used such a miniscule amount that it didn't attach too well....LOL
