my only answer : actually, is there any shop NOT worth the visit ? maybe you can get the Tokyo Underground 2 book before you go there, that would be very helpful !

Re: old question.... toy shop in tokyo
Isn't it TU2 coming out in September?
I'd go to the classics: Secret Base, Bounty Hunter and Trashout (though the first two rarely have anything for sale). Worth dropping by Nakano Broadway for the sheer concentration of stores. Drop by a few Mandarake branches for some good deals... Saying more would be telling!
(I was reading some old thread on the origins of the Zags this morning, and I have to say your English has improved tremendously since then garadama! Grats!)

Sometimes I just think he types like that. He used to live in the California.
Anyway GD you know of the "hot" places to go to. I don't know why you are fishing for info.

I'm surprised he didn't ask for a Clear Bemon.

You should go check out the Mishka store. Only a few blocks from Secret Base and Bounty Hunter. http://mishkanyc.com/tokyo-store

I often pick up the latest issue of Hyper Hobby before a trip, to check out upcoming event info and shop ads. The number of ads are a fraction of what they used to be, but you can still get a nice sampling of the stores still in business.
