Re: Arbito's "Patty Power" MF figure & Interview
I dig Arbito's stuff, but never bought anything (a little out of my price range). the vinyl sculpt is pretty cool.
i just hope that the colorways and vinyl choices are just as fantastic as the resin stuff. I'll be all for it then.

Spanky, Jess and I worked on the interview together. There are exclusive photos since he is the only person I sent them to.

We saw Patty Power and decided he was the cooler of the two burger toys.

Soooo stoked for Jesse. I've been talking to him for years now and glad to see him finally getting his toy. So Jesse, you finally coming to SDCC this year or what?!

Feels good to be working with Super 7 and Gargamel. Itchin to get paint on that vinyl. It'll be my first time at SDCC, and what better way going for a toy release.

Thanks for the shout out John..!
I hope Jesse wasn't that mad that Alex hardly discussed his art and (as usual) focused on food.

Re: Arbito's "Patty Power" MF figure & Interview
I know that clear versions are always popular, but I think that the opaque vinyl works better on this one. At least for me it does. There's a lot going with this little guy and I think it gets lost/muddled in the clear.
Though, depending on the masks set up, it's possible that a clear color with just the right sprays could really set it off. But based on the blanks, I dig the opaque more.

Re: Arbito's "Patty Power" MF figure & Interview
Thanks for doing this interview guys!
Like Joe said, I learned a thing or two, and I liked seeing the sketches. It's funny, I never really thought that the resin Patty Power had legs. I thought he was just hovering in space, and the legs were just oozing sauce and cheese drooping down to the ground.
That said, I like that he now has arms and legs so he can run around with his buddies. Patty's lucky that he's not a bagel sandwich, or Steven would have eaten half his head already.
