Wrong, the only person I ever insult is you. You've neither been a customer, nor a supporter. So is there a reason I should care about your douchebag feelings?

if so feel free to email me a detailed reason and I promise to get right back to you!

You just broadly insulted a bunch of old scholers suggesting that many of them were "dicks", you've also insulted me so thats at least three + people. Something must be making you real tense cause those posts are litterally crackling with rage. i would talk to your employer about instigating tickle time or massage time at work...the world would be a better place with you all happy and fun.

"Tickle Time"!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D but Alex's right there were some real dicks.
I actually thought he/Alex liked them, well at lease the one or two I found the most offensively negative.
Huh, who knew!?!

I can't tell if dude is serious or not after our recent stupid argument on here...but if so, its kind of funny, because that's actually my doll on my couch.

I actually just brought one of these home this weekend. It was my Mom's but she let me grab it. Can't let it go since it has been in the family for maybe as long as I have.

Missy collects them as does/did Paul Kaiju.

Creepy and sad in a really good way.

Hey Erich, welcome to the board. I'm new too. Damn, those Jeremy Fish pieces are the shit!

Don't worry about all the debate. I've had my butt flamed a few times too :D My advise, add these two words to your vocabulary--Bemon and AnrukuAnsaku--and you'll be off to a good start.

Hey while I'm here, can anybody hook me up with these items? Thanks...

I do like them as I am one of them. It doesn't mean I don't like the new jacks too.

Havingmysay was/is notoriously one of the most "offensive" ones out there. He is also a very dear friend.

And believe it or not, I've been genuinely entertained by this whole thread. Have a great weekend, folks.

That sounds like RIT.

I only know it cause my brother has a degree in print management. I went to visit him one time in December. That was the only time I went to Rochester.

All of my money for all those years must not have been being a customer or support then.

Missy, I'll follow up with pics of be@rbricks destroying the world and then you can decide if you want to come play, and you can bring your dolly off your couch.

If you think buying some toys 5 years ago means you have free reign/we're going to let you talk all the shit you want, you're crazy. Your logic may work on your clients but not on us.

You must be mistaken, you can ask a lot of people here, I don't own any toys or collect them.

5 years ago sounds like about the last time S7 put out anything worth buying. :!:

/shit talk

Post Re: New to skullbrain,*and I collect a lot of stuff . . .
not to jump into a flame war, but two questions/statements, asked impartially:

Missy: If we have not made anything worth buying in 5 years, then why are you here? Five years is an awful long time to hang out at a place that you do not like. Something here does not seem to add up.

Audio et al: I think what Alex is referring to is the "high school seniors" status of this board, where the bashing of the incoming Freshman is a sport. While I am all for enforcing the "unwritten rules" and making sure people know how to treat each other as collectors and friends. Many of the more negative folks quit collecting toys for some reason or another years ago. To complete the analogy, it like many of you graduated out years ago, but still want to come back and beat up Freshman after you are Juniors in college. It seems odd.

I think there is a difference between constructive criticism/scolding and maybe a spanking if needed, versus just being a jerk because you have perceived status or power that you can wield.

Ultimately what has many people not collecting any longer from years ago for whatever reason has little or nothing to do with this board. Additionally, it has little or nothing to do with what anyone else is collecting. What I find interesting is that so many of you are very pleasant and witty in person, but on the boards become super-hero vigilantes ready to right the injustices of forum protocol.

Let's face it, I think platform toys suck, and I can say the same for Anraku, but I can articulate why I think they suck, and it is my opinion. Additionally, if you like them, I don't need to make fun of you for it. We can disagree. All of us are weird dorks from the fringes of the "cool kids" for whatever reason. Seems odd to spend your life getting shit thrown at you just to turn around and throw it at someone else just because you finally can.

In closing, either debate and be articulate about what sucks on these things, and not act like four year olds and be fine. Besides, is CIBOTL not enough shit talk for you?

(I am out until late today, so I will not be able to respond to the incoming barrage of poop until tonight. Go outside and see the sun.)

p.s. that clown is super creepy, and the only people that seem to collect the toys with clothes (ObakeDogs) are surprisingly OG. I hate that snoopy inspired mess. Somehow the effervescent HMS loves it. Different strokes.

I will defend Anraku from the S7 onslaught despite a number of collectors dumping it recently.

It's contemporary kaiju, at least some of the pieces, while others are just freaky like the Glutamine or Mescalgon.
Big chunky sculpts with amazing paints. If you can get them at retail, reasonably priced.

Kind of in the same category as Target Earth's Gebora IMO but better minimal paints.
And then you have the collabs like Anraku/Blobpus which are amazing.

If we all collected the same stuff, it would be a boring world...
