I doubt it will happen either. With over 600,000 pre-orders, no retail outlets are going to be selling early. Best Buy even told their employees that they may not have enough to fulfill their pre-orders on Thursday. The best bet at scoring a 4 on Thursday is getting in line early at an Apple store. Otherwise, prepare to wait until mid July if you haven't pre-ordered.

I also like the addition of the pass code lock. is this a new version of pass code lock? i've had my phone locking with a password since I got it. I did notice something I thought was new, you can set your phone to delete all of the data after 10 incorrect passcode attempts.

Re: anyone update their iPhone to iOS4? i didnt care for iOS4 for the 3G, it had the folders, underlined misspelled words, and zoom on the camera, thats all I really saw. Sold the 3G locally today, and my 4 should arrive in a week, i imagine iOS4 will be much more... appealing on the new hardware.

Re: anyone update their iPhone to iOS4? Works just fine on a 3GS - in fact it's made it way better. Like the new tweaks to the iPod, folders a huge help too. Camera is total crap still but it was never an issue. Just make sure you hold that new handest the correct way
