my favorite big boxes are not part of the shelving ... and no none of my horror collection will ever be for sale.. but thanks for noticing, i always feel a kinship with a Fulci fan.

I like your collection, and the VHS's are rad.

I've wanted to put together a video store style VHS horrror movie collection for a while. It reminds me of when I was a kid and I wasn't allowed to rent horror movies so I'd just run to the horror movie section as soon as we got there and look at all of the boxes. I'd always try to conince my parents that not only was there no reason I should not rent them, but there were actually numerous reasons that I should watch all of them. It never worked.

We have some similar taste overlaps. Dehara, StrangeCo, Last Kaiju etc.

I like the loose, unorganized or arranged and staggered look. Never understood the pristine, under glass, museum thing. I'm constantly rearranging or moving things. Figures are all over the place, not just on some wall with glass. OCD types would freak.

sounds familiar, except that I was allowed to rent horror movies but still ran and looked at the boxes immediately anyway.

the box art for many of those movies is actually better than the movie themselves a lot of the time

Any of you guys remember the Microwave Massacre VHS box? You could push the button on the microwave and hear screaming. I never saw it but that box was great.

dude, it's so weird that you said this. I very recently wrote a review for the DVD release of this movie. I actually even made a post about it here.

man, of all the movies in the world for you to bring up! haha what are the odds?
